About Richard

Richard is an Officer in the Army Adjutant Generals Corps Education and Training Services Branch with an interest in education and learning technology.

He previously worked at Runshaw College in Lancashire, where he provided technology led support with the aim of promoting independence and inclusion for students and removing barriers to learning.

He pioneered work to improve exam access for large numbers of English GCSE students at a low cost using open source software.

Richard has been a speaker and contributor at several JISC Digifest and JISC DART project events as well as several national conferences hosted by the AELP and Association of Colleges.

When he’s not working he enjoys running and tries to find as much time as he can to read.
